Shortly after Gabriel was born, I needed to go to the doctors as I had become unwell. As my luck would have it, there must have been a baby clinic on that day and the waiting room was filled with new parents and their tiny babies. It took all the strength I had not to fall apart. I needed something to try to distract me from what was happening around me so whilst I waited to be called in, I started a crowdfunding page for #gabrielsgift.
At the time I didn’t really know what charity I wanted to raise money for, I just needed something to focus on whilst I was in that room and doing something for Gabriel made, what felt like forever, pass somewhat quicker.
I set up a crowd funding page in Gabriel’s memory and since then, money which has been raised has gone to Tommy’s, Remember My Baby and the project I am starting-Little Lockets.
Now, money which is donated to Gabriel’s crowdfunding page will go towards Little Lockets. This fundraising page can be found here.
He also has a Just Giving page for Tommy’s where donations from different fundraising projects is donated. This page can be found here.
In February, I set up a Just Giving page for Remember My Baby, as I wanted to give something back to them and help them with the amazing work they do to provide bereaved families with the most beautiful pictures of their little ones. This page can be found here.
The support and generosity people have shown to continue Gabriel’s legacy and help others in his memory is something that continues to overwhelm me and I am so very thankful.
